There comes a point in every business’s life cycle where they need to begin to grow. Hiring new employees, changing offices, and mixing up the leadership are all par for the course when scaling a business. We at Blueprint Advisory feel like we’ve reached this point in our journey and have made the decision to bring some new talent on board to help better serve our clients.
But before we get into that, we think that we should touch on where our company has been, where we are going, and what that means for our clients.
Who is Blueprint?
We’ve always been a Salesforce Product Development Outsourcer (PDO) focused on building AppExchange Partners (ISVs) on the Salesforce Platform. Our team is a rare example of a PDO that is led by a former operating team of a software business built on Salesforce and has learned the hard way on how to build on the platform successfully.
Our story started 12 years ago when our founder, Brandon Metcalf decided to build an ISV directly on the AppExchange. He took a small idea and built it into a fast-growing recruitment software company called Talent Rover. Brandon brought on board Greg Symons and Kabe VanderBaan to help scale Talent Rover. They scaled fast with 9 offices in 8 countries, 125 employees, and clients with revenues ranging from $26B to those with less than $5M around the world.
Talent Rover was acquired in 2018, but the three knew that they could take their decades of experience and make it available to others in the same position. Having been to the top of the mountain themselves, they knew they could offer a way up for others to find success not only from their experience building Salesforce-based products but through their time operating and building a successful business centered within the Salesforce Ecosystem.
Thus, Blueprint was born, and after a successful initial phase, fantastic referral-based growth, and validation during a global pandemic we are on the fast track towards rapid growth. To help support and facilitate our future growth, we’ve added to our team a new marketing manager—Winter Green-Ike.
Who is Winter Green-Ike?
Winter brings with her nearly fourteen years of experience in strategic planning and has the innovation to help us execute our brand growth. She has worked in both B2C and B2B industries gaining a variety of skill sets and experience over the course of her career.
Winter’s expertise aligns well with our existing and future objectives. She can help us grow our brand in creative new ways. She truly understands our mission of approaching every client as a true partner and to see our clients business’ flourish.
What Comes Next?
We’ve proven with Talent Rover and Blueprint Advisory that we know what it takes to create a successful start-up, even during a pandemic that knocked other established businesses off their feet. We’ve tripled in size and have partnered with a dynamic group of clients, and we’re just only getting started.
Blueprint Advisory is poised to help new clients enter this growing marketplace with confidence as Salesforce continues its upward trajectory and is projecting that the ecosystem will add $1.2T in net-new revenue by end of 2024.
Our business ethos will always remain the same, but as we grow, we’re beginning to look into how we can further expand and leverage our brand to better serve our clients and future clients.
